Privacy Policy

Information we collect

When you create an account, we receive your name, email address, profile image when provided, and authentication account identifier. If you use Google sign-in, Google provides this basic profile information after you approve access.

We store the domains you save, searches and alert settings you create, and account preferences needed to provide the service. Stripe processes payments; DomainSnip stores billing status and identifiers, but does not store complete payment-card details.

Our hosting and analytics providers may process standard technical information such as browser type, pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, and diagnostic events.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate you, sync your watchlist, deliver requested domain alerts, manage subscriptions, secure and troubleshoot the service, and understand how DomainSnip is used.

We do not sell personal information or use Google account data for advertising.

Service providers and retention

We share data with providers that operate DomainSnip, including Google for authentication, Convex for application data, Stripe for billing, Resend for email delivery, and Vercel for hosting and analytics. They process data under their own terms and privacy commitments.

When you authorize an AI app through the DomainSnip MCP server, it can receive listing data and account data such as your watchlist or saved alerts within the permissions you approve. Approved write permissions let it change those items on your behalf. The AI app handles the data it receives under its own terms and privacy policy. You can revoke a connection from MCP connections in DomainSnip.

We keep account data while your account is active and as reasonably needed for security, legal, and accounting obligations. You can delete your account from DomainSnip settings; some records may remain where retention is legally required.

Your choices and contact

You can update alert preferences, sign out of the web app, revoke an AI app from MCP connections, or delete your account. Signing out of the web app does not revoke an MCP connection. You may also revoke DomainSnip access from your Google Account settings.
